Three-Hour Televised Awards Show Hosted by Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood Airs Live Wednesday, Nov. 8 on ABC

NASHVILLE – Reigning CMA Vocal Duo of the Year Brothers Osborne and rising Country Music stars Lauren Alaina and Dustin Lynch are slated to announce the final nominees for “The 51st Annual CMA Awards” Country Music’s Biggest Night live from New York’s Times Square Monday, Sept. 4 on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

“The CMA Awards are my favorite time of the year. And to have these three acts unveil our nominees on a national platform signifies a new era of talent and the continued growth of the industry, a core pillar of our organization.”

Nominees in select categories will be announced in the 8:30 AM/ET half-hour segment of the top-rated morning news program. The highly-anticipated announcement will also be available via livestream on ABCnews.com/live. Brothers Osborne will close out the Labor Day show with a performance of the anthemic “It Ain’t My Fault.”

Immediately following the show, the remaining categories, as well as the CMA Broadcast Awards nominees will be revealed live on GoodMorningAmerica.com as well as via “Good Morning America’s” Facebook page through Facebook Live and simulcast on “Good Morning America’s” YouTube channel.

About Brothers Osborne: Two sons from a working class family, John and TJ Osborne grew up in a small, Maryland water town writing and playing songs for friends and family in their father’s shed. John moved to Nashville first to play in other bands and two years later, TJ joined him. It was then they formed Brothers Osborne as a twang-and-crunch duo that blends equal parts country and rock into one of the freshest, most identifiable sounds to come out of Nashville in recent years. The singer/songwriter siblings stand as the reigning 2016 CMA “Vocal Duo of the Year”. Brothers Osborne’s debut album PAWN SHOP was released January 2016 and features their current rowdy single “It Ain’t My Fault” in addition to the GRAMMY-nominated, No.1 smash hit “Stay A Little Longer” as well as the GRAMMY-nominated “21 Summer.” Brothers Osborne just embarked on their first-headlining The Dirt Rich Tour this past fall after previously touring with the likes of Eric Church, Little Big Town and Miranda Lambert. They will join Chris Stapleton on the road this year as part of his All-American Road Show Tour.

About Lauren Alaina: Georgia native Lauren Alaina captured America’s hearts when she appeared on Season 10 of American Idol. On Jan. 27, Lauren followed up her No. 1 debuting first album, Wildflower, with the release of the eagerly-awaited Road Less Traveled. Selected as one of Rolling Stone’s Most Anticipated Albums of 2017 and praised as “full of life lessons and uplift” (PEOPLE), the collection of 12 songs all written by the young star includes Lauren’s first No. 1 hit, title track “Road Less Traveled.”

The “sassy Southerner with killer pipes” (PARADE) has shared the stage with superstars including Alan Jackson, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Martina McBride and most recently, this summer’s Huntin’, Fishin’, And Lovin’ Every Day Tour with Luke Bryan.

Lauren is one of CMT’s Next Women of Country and recently scored her first CMT Music Award for Breakthrough Video of the Year. Lauren has also been nominated for several Teen Choice Awards, Radio Disney Awards and this spring, Lauren earned her first ACM nomination for New Female Vocalist of the Year.

Lauren brings her signature “powerhouse, honey-toned vocals” (Rolling Stone) to country radio with her incredibly moving current single, “Doin’ Fine.” For more information, visit www.LaurenAlainaOfficial.com.

Racking up over 113 million views on YouTube/VEVO, scoring 245 million-plus streams on Spotify, soaring to #1 on the MTV Music Meter, and selling 3 million digital tracks, he brings a fresh combination of traditional influence and edgy intensity to the genre. Following his sophomore album, WHERE IT’S AT (Broken Bow Records) – which debuted at #1 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart and has tallied over 1 million tracks sold to date – Lynch’s hotly-anticipated follow up, CURRENT MOOD, will arrive on September 8. Produced by Brent Anderson, Mickey Jack Cones, Ross Copperman, Zach Crowell, and Will Weatherly, the boldly adventurous project features the GOLD-certified singles “Seein’ Red” and “Small Town Boy,” and aims to push the envelope of Country music even further. Realizing his long time dream of creating a fashion line, Lynch has also branched out to launch Stay Country.
