Chad Warrix | "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock"
ChadWarrix
Warrix may best be known as one of the founding members of the duo Halfway to Hazard, who enjoyed success with their top 40 single “Daisy.” Chad’s most recent radio single, “Rain on the Roof” from his solo project, graced the charts in 2012. It was featured on SIRIUS XM’s The Highway, CMT Pure, CMT.com, TCN (The Country Network), GAC (Great American Country) & about 130 radio stations across the country. “Hitch” will debut in May of 2014 launching on SIRIUS XM as well. Additionally, one of Warrix’s songs, “Die by my own Hand” was recently released on Tim McGraw’s Emotional Traffic Album.

Chad recently jumped off “The Journey Tour” 2014 with direct support for Craig Morgan, and supported Randy Houser and Colt Ford in 2013 on multiple dates. As part of Halfway to Hazard, Warrix toured with Tim McGraw, and Jason Aldean on their Live your Voice Tour, and again on McGraw & Faith Hill’s Soul II Soul Tour. H2H was nominated as best duo by the ACM’s (Academy of County Music). Chad has also toured with Randy Houser & Keith Anderson filing in on guitar when needed. Through Chad’s philanthropic efforts, he has helped raise nearly 1 million dollars for various charities, mainly in KY, throughout his career.

Chad is a proud supporter of his home state and has already been honored with an exhibit at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame. His annual Crockettsville Charity Concert and Trail Ride, started in 2008, has raised over half a million dollars for Kentucky’s Buckhorn & Family Services Charity. Past performers at the event have included Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley, Randy Houser, Keith Anderson and Lee Brice.

Warrix has received the Eastern Kentucky Leadership Award, and last year was honored with the William D. Gorman Humanitarian Award for his continued efforts on behalf of his hometown. Immediately following receipt, Chad was acknowledged in the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame with a display to highlight his musical and philanthropic achievements as well as receiving the Danny R. Ford Award from the Hall of Fame for his distinguished service.
