Meghan Linsey hails from the Big Easy and her musical roots are fully evident in her soulful vocals. She moved to Nashville at the tender age of 18 to pursue her musical interests. You may remember Linsey as the female half of the charismatic duo, Steel Magnolia, who became America’s sweethearts when they won CMT’s “Can You Duet,” and scored a top 5 single on the Billboard charts with “Keep On Lovin’ You.” They spent the next several years touring with artists such as Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire and many more. They’ve graced the Grand Ole Opry stage dozens of times and have been nominated for CMT, ACM and CMA awards.
Linsey recently hit a home run kicking off her solo career with her own rendition of “Counting Stars,” which reached #16 on SiriusXM The Highway along with the video which aired on CMT. Linsey plans to release her first solo EP this year that will showcase her soul-infused vocals and music, which reflects a fresh style with self-penned songs chronicling her journey over the last several years.
