High Praise For a young rock band that hasn’t released their first record yet, but Mr. Wild speaks the truth.
The Brothers Road boast a sound that is both instantly reminiscent of more classic styles of music, and yet refreshingly original and current. Drawing influence from the vibes of rock, jazz, pop and country music, The Brothers Road seeks to create a musical world all their own. Any show featuring The Brothers Road is sure to pull the audience into a high energy look into the past, present, and future of entertainment!
The Brothers Road was formed by college roommates James Ferguson and Christopher Deaton. Joining Ferguson (lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist), and Deaton (drummer and BGV) is guitarist and producer Quinn Redmond and bassist Tarka Layman. Deaton and Redmond grew up in the same small town of Franklin, TN and played anywhere there was a stage since middle school. Ferguson had followed the same path in Georgia, playing gigs around his hometown and honing his songwriting skills. Once getting together with the addition of Layman (from Florida), you could say all hell broke loose, or that heaven rained down, whichever way you look at things.
