FAN PHOTO LINES

Fan Photo Lines are one of many benefits for 4-day CMA Fest pass holders. With a 4-day pass, you can take photos directly in front of the stages at Nissan Stadium and Riverfront Stage! This lets YOU get close to your favorite artist’s performance, no matter where your seats are located!

Fan Photo Lines access is reserved ONLY for 4-day pass holders. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 21. Due to the large crowds, noise level, and moving lines, children age 5 and under are not recommended in the photo lines. Due to Fan Photo Line demand and volume of participants, the lines must keep moving to accommodate all eligible fans. Event staff and signage will be onsite to assist in this process.

Nissan Stadium

The Nissan Stadium photo line will start behind Section 142 on the Concourse Level behind the stage. This is closest to Gate 6 on the West/River side of Nissan Stadium (Gates 2-5 are closed during the event). Here’s the tricky part – the entrance of the photo line is NOT accessible from the East side of Nissan stadium near Gate 1. The concourse area behind the stage is closed, so make sure when you head to the entrance of the line, please don’t try to take the shortcut behind the stage because it will only result in more walking!

Floor Level ticket holders may NOT enter the photo line from the field.

Fans may line up for the current and next artist performing only. Lines for artists performing later in the night won’t form until the appropriate time, so keep enjoying the show until then! Remember, there are no screens behind the stage so by choosing to wait in the photo line, you’ll miss a portion of the show. Wait times vary depending on the number of fans in line. There is a limited amount of time that each artist will perform, and that time frame will determine how many fans may enter the line until capacity is reached.

Once it’s your turn to see your favorite artist you’ve been waiting for, the line will proceed down the steps of the Lower Level directly onto the field. Floor Level ticket holders may exit the line back onto the field on House Left*. All other ticket holders must walk back up and out onto the concourse to return to your seats or re-enter the photo line. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of signage so you won’t get lost!

ADA patrons WILL have access to Nissan Stadium photo line. Further instructions will be available on-site.

No food or beverage will be permitted in the photo line.

Riverfront Stage

Follow signage and enter the photo line on House Right*. The photo line will proceed directly in from of the stage and you will exit on House Left*. To re-enter the photo line, walk back up the hill and proceed to the main entry point.

Ascend Amphitheater

Enter the photo line on House Right* by walking down the aisle to the right of all seating.

*If you are facing the stage, House Right is on the right side of the stage and House Left is on the left.

EVENT HISTORY

Launched as Fan Fair® in 1972, the very first festival was attended by 5,000 people and was held at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium. The event moved to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds in 1982, then to Downtown Nashville in 2001. From 2010 to this year's event, CMA Music Festival has sold out Nissan Stadium and drawn nearly 90,000 Country fans to downtown Nashville each day!

In 2004, the CMA Music Festival was chronicled in a 2-hour primetime, network TV special on CBS. The following year the TV special – now known as “CMA Fest” – aired on ABC, where it has aired annually ever since. In 2009, the special grew to be 3 hours long.
