CMA To Release Consumer Research Results Throughout May Via Weekly Webinars For Members Scott Frans April 26, 2016 NASHVILLE – CMA, Country Music’s premier trade association, will release key findings from an extensive consumer research initiative to members in May. The information will be released via three weekly webinars beginning Tuesday, May 3. “Empowering our members and the industry with timely information about our consumers is central to our mission,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “CMA is a resource and a valuable repository for information that supports the business interests of all of our constituents.” The theme of the weekly series is “Understanding Today’s Shifting Consumer Landscape and Changing Country Music Audiences, Music Choices, and Behaviors.” The new CMA research findings on evolving consumer trends will undoubtedly have an impact on the genre and how Country Music’s future audiences will likely engage with music, according to Karen Stump, CMA Sr. Director of Market Research. Each one-hour webinar will examine eye-opening changes coming from the new generation of Country Music fans and how those shifts will affect music behaviors and preferences.
