Hailing from Jackson, Tennessee—right in between the Country scene in Nashville and the Rock and Roll of Memphis—singer/songwriter Brandon Lay was exposed to a wide variety of influences early on, including everything from Bryan Adams to Don Williams and Elvis Presley. Brandon first began his musical career as a student at Union University. A rising basketball star, he decided to shift his attention to music during his junior year and, after graduating in 2010 with a business degree, he made the move to Music City to take things to the next level.
In October 2013, Brandon signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music, and signed a booking deal with CAA in January 2014. With a well-established college-based following, Brandon’s music has taken him across the Southeastern US, and he’ll continue the momentum this spring with a full schedule of upcoming shows. While not on the road Brandon spends his time in Nashville writing and recording. Look for him on the road in 2015.
