CMA AND YOUTUBE PRESENT FIRST SEMINAR IN YOUTUBE MUSIC NASHVILLE SERIES

NASHVILLE – The Country Music Association and YouTube presented an artist content development seminar Thursday in Nashville. The program was the first in a series of workshops for CMA members that will continue throughout the year, dubbed YouTube Music Nashville. Held at a pop-up space, CMA members learned fundamentals of music on YouTube, along with hands-on time with the latest equipment — all for free.

YouTube Music Nashville is a series of events over the coming year for songwriters, musicians, labels, publishers, managers, and more. These events offer training on strategies used by the most successful YouTube creators, hands-on workshops to improve presence across Google and YouTube, opportunities to meet and collaborate with other members of the YouTube music community, as well as hear the latest strategies from YouTube’s team, successful musicians, and others across the music industry.

YouTube personality Todd Womack was on hand to demonstrate how to effectively create and distribute compelling content via the site. CMA artist members Erin Enderlin and Kenny Foster participated in demonstrative performances and interviews that will later appear on their respective YouTube channels.
