HOLLY WILLIAMS

Holly Williams stopped by CMA for an intimate, acoustic Live@CMA performance for the release of her new album, The Highway. In this video, Williams ̶ granddaughter of Country legend Hank Williams, Sr. and daughter to rowdy superstar Hank Williams, Jr. ̶ performs several songs off The Highway, including "Drinkin'", "Gone Away From Me," "Railroads," "The Highway" and "Waiting on June." She also advises young artists about advancing their careers, explains her hopes of Country embracing story songs, and talks about the art of singing from other points of view.

The Live@CMA video series has all of the above. Dating back to the early 1990s, CMA in Nashville has been a destination for rising stars to perform private acoustic sets of new songs, recent hits and even some lively cover tunes. Many have gone on to be huge stars: Kenny Chesney (1993), Brad Paisley (1999), Blake Shelton (2002), Sugarland (2005), Taylor Swift (2006) just to name a few.

CHARLIE WORSHAM

Warner Bros. artist Charlie Worsham plays Live@CMA, performing songs from his upcoming debut release, including "Rubberband," "Could It Be" and "Young to See." The multi-instrumentalist also tackled Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train" on banjo. FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE

Country duo Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise” was heading to No. 1 when they stopped in for a Live@CMA performance. In this video, they talk about the work it takes to make music a career and the important lessons they learn every night on stage. Plus, hear stripped down versions of “Get Your Shine On,” “Dayum, Baby” and “Here’s to the Good Times.”


PARMALEE

Parmalee played Live@CMA as their new single, "Carolina," was catching radio buzz . In this video, they play acoustic versions of "Carolina", "Can't Tell My Heart," "Already Calling You Mine" and the party rocker "Musta Had a Good Time." They also open up about their Country roots, improvisation and the wild party that broke out while shooting the "Musta Had a Good Time" video.


JT HODGES

At a young age, JT Hodges was already spending hours in his father’s Fort Worth, Texas studio earning his musical pedigree. In this video, we hear stripped-down versions of his singles “Sleepy Little town” and “Hunt You Down.” Hodges also talks about growing up in a studio, his love of songwriting, and how he feels right at home in Nashville.


DUSTIN LYNCH

Dustin Lynch took the Live@CMA stage as his hit, “Cowboys and Angels,” was soaring the charts. In this video, Lynch plays an acoustic-version of “Cowboys and Angels” and “Last Lap” off his debut. We also hear about his love of Country, why he got into songwriting, and about dealing with rejection for years as an upstart artist.


BRANTLEY GILBERT

As Brantley Gilbert was celebrating a No. 1 this summer (2012), he stopped by Live@CMA to play his hits. This includes “Country Must Be Country Wide,” his No. 1 “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” and “Kick It in the Sticks.” In this video, he also talks about learning as a solo acoustic artist, touring with Willie Nelson, and mixing rock 'n' roll into his revved-up Country.
