Trends in Country Music Discovery and Streaming

In this session,  Karen Stump, CMA’s Sr. Director of Market Research, will share insights from recent CMA consumer research into country music discovery among UK music fans including a profile of these music explorers.  An in-depth look at music streaming and consumption trends relative to the country genre, provided by Marie-Alicia Chang, Co-Founder of Semetric, will round out this session on current trends and opportunities.

What is COUNTRY Music?

Media and Industry executives will discuss how to define Country Music in the international landscape. Does the word Country resonate? What makes the genre so appealing? Which artists define the genre internationally? Hear a new perspective from our panel of experts including Bob Shennan, BBC; Jeff Walker, Aristo Media; Richard Wootton, Richard Wootton Publicity; Judy Seale. Engaging the Music Fan

Entertainment Executives from BBC, International Media outlets, and other properties discuss ways to engage the Music fanbase – from an international and US domestic perspective.
