Brad Paisley and Zac Brown Band headine a huge two-day music festival featuring performances by Dierks Bentley, Dixie Chicks, Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, Chris Young, and Martina McBride. In this session, Karen Stump, CMA’s Sr. Director of Market Research, will share insights from recent CMA consumer research into country music discovery among UK music fans including a profile of these music explorers. An in-depth look at music streaming and consumption trends relative to the country genre, provided by Marie-Alicia Chang, Co-Founder of Semetric, will round out this session on current trends and opportunities.

Media and Industry executives will discuss how to define Country Music in the international landscape. Does the word Country resonate? What makes the genre so appealing? Which artists define the genre internationally?
