Kelsea Ballerini Performs for CMA EDU Leadership at Summit Reception

NASHVILLE – Black River recording artist Kelsea Ballerini participated in a Q&A session and performed for CMA EDU chapter executives Sunday night at CMA headquarters in Nashville.

The students are in town for the CMA EDU Summit, where chapter executive members come together for panel discussions and an in-depth look at the Country Music industry. Ballerini took questions and performed several songs from her debut album for the visiting students, who represent leadership from the 24 CMA EDU chapters around the country.

The Summit continued Monday with industry leaders, as well as Broken Bow Records’ Chase Bryant, addressing students about marketing, publicity, publishing, leadership, and more.

Tyler Farr was also on hand to perform an acoustic lunchtime set.

CMA EDU is a campus-based program that gathers college students in celebration of their love for music and gives them an inside look into the music industry. In return, CMA leverages these groups for research, marketing, and promotional use on their respective campuses.
