Little Big Town And Darius Rucker Announce Final Nominees For The 48th Annual CMA Awards

NASHVILLE – Little Big Town and Darius Rucker took to the streets of New York City Wednesday morning to announce the final nominees for “The 48th Annual CMA Awards.” The first announcements happened live on “Good Morning America” where final nominees for Album, Vocal Group, Male Vocalist, Female Vocalist, and Entertainer of the Year were revealed.

Following “Good Morning America,” Little Big Town and Rucker made their way to the Best Buy Theater where they announced final nominees in the remaining seven categories, and helped the CMA Foundation announce a $125,000 donation to New York-based Education Through Music. Students from Education Through Music partner schools performed Rucker’s hit “Wagon Wheel” for the crowd.

“The 48th Annual CMA Awards” will air live from Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 5 on ABC.
