CMA Announces New Hires and Promotions

NASHVILLE – The Country Music Association has announced today the addition of Lindsey Jones as Receptionist, Lauren Klausing as Strategic Partnerships Assistant, Natalie Wilson as Market Research Coordinator, and the promotion of Sarah McGrady to Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships.

Jones joins CMA from HK Management where she worked as an Executive Assistant to management teams for Lenny Kravitz, Boz Scaggs, and more. She was previously a temporary office staff member during the 2013 CMA Music Festival. In her full-time position, Jones will oversee all incoming intern orientations and evaluation paperwork, assist the Finance and Administration department, as well as handle all front desk responsibilities. Jones graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Music Business with a minor in public relations. She reports to Melissa Maynard, Operations Manager.

Klausing worked as a temporary assistant to Sheri Warnke, CMA Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications, during her senior year at Belmont University and was recently promoted to a full time position as an assistant in the Strategic Partnerships department.

Wilson joins the Market Research department at CMA from Taylor Global, a public relations and marketing communications agency based in New York. She was with Taylor for four years, working as a Senior Consumer Insights Strategist for category leading brands including Diageo, P&G, Taco Bell and Nestlé. Wilson attended the University of Virginia’s undergraduate McIntire School of Business. She has a background in qualitative and quantitative research in support of PR marketing programs. Wilson will report to Karen Stump, Director of Market Research.

McGrady joined CMA in February 2009 as Senior Coordinator of Strategic Partnerships and was named Manager of Strategic Partnerships in 2011. In her new role as Senior Manager, McGrady will be responsible for continuing to forge relationships with new and existing corporate partners, as well as onsite execution of partner activations at the CMA Music Festival and CMA Awards broadcasts. McGrady currently serves as SOLID President and was a finalist for the second year in a row for the Nashville Emerging Leader Award. McGrady reports to Tawni Fite, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships.
