
NASHVILLE - The Country Music Association has promoted Bobette Dudley to Senior Director of Events and Program Development and Rick Murray to Senior Director of Strategic Marketing.
Now in her 11th year with CMA, Dudley most recently served as Director of Events and Program Development. In her role as Senior Director, she will continue to supervise and direct the execution of CMA programs and special projects such as Fan Fair, CMA’s annual CRS luncheon, America’s Sold On Country tour logistics and CMA’s Town Meeting. She has a major role with the CMA Awards, overseeing ticketing and seating, event logistics, serves as a liaison with the producer and production staff, and coordinates the pre-telecast and post-Awards parties. Responsible for the logistical arrangements for CMA board meetings, Bobette is also directly involved with the development and execution of special events planned in conjunction with the four quarterly board meetings.
Murray is promoted to Senior Director of Strategic Marketing from Director of Strategic Alliances. A 5-year CMA veteran, Murray will be responsible for overseeing marketing services, CMA’s strategic partnerships, consumer promotions for Fan Fair and the CMA Awards, a country-themed free standing insert program, brand development and new market development. Rick works closely with advertising agencies, corporate clients, retailers, associations and other partners to expand the reach of the Country Music fan base.
