CMA Music Festival Merchandise Line Grows
Tower Records And Wrangler® Western Wear Set Up Shop At Event Sites
NASHVILLE – “Been there. Got the T-shirt.” CMA Music Festival/Fan Fair® attendees can treasure the experience long after the four-day weekend is over with merchandise purchased at this year’s event. Taking place Thursday through Sunday, June 10-13, in Downtown Nashville, CMA Music Festival will feature retail outlets at many event sites where fans can buy everything from their favorite trinket and music to clothing and more.
Working with Music City Merchandise, CMA Music Festival’s official merchandiser for the past nine years, CMA has developed an expansive product line for 2004 CMA Music Festival. In addition to a sample of items that have been available online since January, additional products were introduced this week on www.CMAfest.com. Items currently available include long- and short-sleeved T-shirts in assorted colors; a baseball jersey; a drink holder; key chain; and more. And you can come prepared by purchasing official event merchandise prior to the June event at www.CMAfest.com.
“We’re excited to once again offer fans a wide assortment of quality merchandise,” said Ed Benson, CMA Executive Director. “Festival merchandise is popular among the fans every year, and it is a great way to spread the word about this unique event.”
These and many more CMA Music Festival products will be available onsite during the four-day music extravaganza. Merchandise booths will be set up at the Wrangler® Fan Fair (Exhibit Hall); Greased Lightning® Riverfront Park Stages; Bush’s® Baked Beans Family Zone; and The Coliseum. Additionally, merchandise will be available at the Gaylord Entertainment Center Wednesday, June 9 and Thursday, June 10 during registration hours.
“CMA Music Festival is changing for the better with being Downtown and the new, exciting lineup of today’s Country stars,” said Carl Gibbs, owner of Music City Merchandise. “The merchandise I offer is representative of the direction CMA is going to grow the event.”
In addition to sponsoring the Wrangler® Fan Fair (Exhibit Hall) in the Nashville Convention Center, Wrangler® is also on-hand to outfit CMA Music Festival attendees. As in the past, Wrangler® is setting up shop in the Exhibit Hall with a full range of western wear, belts, hats and accessories sure to please Country fans.
“No CMA Music Festival is complete without a stop by the Wrangler booth,” commented Edyie Brooks-Bryant, Marketing Manager for Wrangler®. Brooks-Bryant said that Festival attendees purchasing a jean or shirt from the George Strait Cowboy Cut Collection receive a free poster of Strait. “It’s a great way to delight consumers loyal to both the patch and the celebrity.”
