2004 CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL FEATURED IN “FISHER’S ATV WORLD” ON CABLE NETWORK THE MEN’S CHANNEL

NASHVILLE – Country Music fans and outdoors enthusiasts can relive all the excitement of the 2004 CMA Music Festival/Fan Fair® in an episode of “Fisher’s ATV World” premiering today on cable network The Men’s Channel.

“Fisher’s ATV World,” a popular, weekly television series hosted by Brian Fisher and centered on all-terrain vehicle activities and outdoors destinations, made its second trip to CMA Music Festival in 2004. This time, though, the lifestyles program did more than cover the four-day music extravaganza for its viewers; it also brought its own brand of fun to the event with Fisher’s ATV World’s Celebrity ATV Rodeo. The event, hosted by Country Music duo Montgomery Gentry, kicked off the new-in-2004 Sports Zone during CMA Music Festival, and is now chronicled in an episode of “Fisher’s ATV World.”

Participants in the Celebrity ATV Rodeo included hosts Montgomery Gentry, Rhett Akins, duo Blue County, Kix Brooks, Tracy Byrd, Billy Currington, Scotty Emerick, Tracy Lawrence, James Otto, Daryle Singletary, and Michael Waddell, host of The Outdoor Channel’s “Real Tree Road Trips.” To find out who best maneuvered through the obstacle best, tune in to the current episode of “Fisher’s ATV World,” airing as follows on The Men’s Channel: Monday, Sept. 13 (10:30 PM/EST); Wednesday, Sept. 15 (11:00 PM/EST); and Sunday, Sept. 19 (5:30 PM/EST).

2004 was a big year for CMA Music Festival. In addition to setting an attendance record of 132,000 fans in four days, for the first time in its history, the event was chronicled for a major network television special. “CMA Music Festival: Country Music’s Biggest Party” aired on the CBS Television Network in July, attracting more than 11 million viewers, ranking among the top 20 programs for the week and helping CBS win both the night and week.
