CMA OFFERS DISCOUNTED MEMBERSHIP RATES TO CLUB CONNECTION MEMBERS AND SESAC AFFILIATES

NASHVILLE – The Country Music Association announces two opportunities for select industry groups to join the trade organization at a reduced rate.

“CMA continues to reach out to all segments of our industry, creating ways to involve them in our organization,” said Ed Benson, CMA Executive Director. “All CMA members have a voice in our events, including voting for the industry’s most prestigious honor, the CMA Awards.”

CMA is partnering with Marco Promotion’s Club Connection to offer their affiliates an exclusive membership opportunity. Country Music dance club managers, disc jockeys and certified dance instructors aligned with Club Connection can now join the CMA and receive a 15% discounted rate on membership fees. Club Connection is a unique resource for Country Music dance clubs, providing them with music, posters and displays, print materials and creative marketing packages. The CMA membership opportunity is designed to help this segment of the industry strengthen its ties with the trade organization.

"This is a great opportunity for our affiliates," Club Connection Coordinator of Venue Marketing, Jon Gunter said. "We’re thrilled to work with CMA, giving our clubs and instructors more of a voice in Country Music and helping them continue to show their importance to our format."

CMA is also teaming with SESAC, offering their affiliated publishers and songwriters a 15% discount on CMA membership from now until September 30.

“With our headquarters in Nashville, SESAC has enjoyed a long, productive relationship with the Country Music Association,” said Pat Collins, SESAC President/COO.  “The tireless efforts of the CMA in spreading the Country Music message have been and continue to be of great benefit to songwriters, publishers and music lovers everywhere. SESAC is proud to offer this special CMA membership discount as a benefit to our members.”

The Country Music Association was the FIRST trade organization formed to promote a type of music in 1958. Based in Nashville, CMA currently has more than 5,000 organizational and professional members around the globe representing every facet of the industry from songwriters, to record producers, artists, musicians, talent agents, publicists, radio programmers, music video directors and more. The objectives of CMA are to guide and enhance the development of Country Music throughout the world; to demonstrate it as a viable medium to advertisers, consumers and media; and to provide a unity of purpose for the Country Music industry through its signature events the CMA Music Festival and CMA Awards.
