NASHVILLE – The “40th Annual CMA Awards” will air on Monday, Nov. 6 (8:00-11:00 PM/EST) for the first time on the ABC Television Network live from the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville, Tenn. Each week leading up to “Country Music’s Biggest Night™,” CMA will spotlight one of the Award categories with trivia about this year’s nominees and past winners.
One of the special moments of the CMA Awards is the presentation of the Entertainer of the Year Award.

Answer: Kenny Chesney is featured in the new cookbook collected by Academy Award®-winning actor Morgan Freeman titled, Morgan Freeman & Friends: Carribbean Cooking for a Cause. The book is a beautiful interpretation of the Caribbean with travel tales and lush photographs. Chesney takes readers into his kitchen to make his favorite key lime pie and tells tales about his love affair with the Caribbean. Proceeds from the book benefit the island of Grenada, which received massive destruction after Hurricane Ivan. In 2004, Chesney won in the CMA Entertainer of the Year category.

In 2004, he won in the category for his duet with Alison Krauss on “Whiskey Lullaby.” In 2005, he was nominated with Sara Evans on “New Again,” and he is also nominated in 2006 for his duet with the legendary Dolly Parton on “When I Get Where I’m Going.” In 2001, Paisley also won the Vocal Event of the Year Award (Musical Event of the Year) for his collaboration with Buck Owens, George Jones and Bill Anderson on “Too Country.” This is Paisley’s second Entertainer of the Year nomination consecutively.
