NASHVILLE – C2C is proud to present the CMA Songwriters Series at indigo at The O2 in London Friday, March 6, 2015 hosted by Kix Brooks with Jessi Alexander, Brandy Clark, Sam Palladio, and Jon Randall.

The CMA Songwriters Series showcases the best of Country Music’s hit songwriters. The show presents songwriters and artists together on stage, taking turns telling the stories behind their hits and performing them acoustically as originally written. In 2015, the CMA Songwriters Series will once again take place on the evening before C2C, a huge two-day music festival at London’s The O2 featuring an outstanding line up of Country Music’s biggest stars.

Alexander is one of Nashville’s most prolific and talented songwriters. She recorded for Columbia Records and released her debut album, Honeysuckle Sweet, in 2005 and enjoyed a couple of hits before changing course and focusing on a very successful career as a songwriter. She has co-written big hit singles for Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton, Miley Cyrus and more. She won the 2013 CMA Song of the Year award for co-writing “I Drive Your Truck,” a No. 1 hit for Lee Brice.

As one-half of Country Music’s most successful duo of all time, Brooks is a multi-faceted entertainer with a long list of songwriting credits to his name. The acclaimed artist and entrepreneur has notched three CMA National Broadcast Personality of The Year Awards for “American Country Countdown,” hosts his “Kickin’ It with Kix” radio show five nights a week, co-owns Nashville’s award-winning winery Arrington Vineyards and is a regular columnist for Country Weekly.

Clark won the 2014 CMA Song of the Year Award for Kacey Musgraves’ “Follow Your Arrow,” which she co-wrote with Musgraves and Shane McAnally. She also co-wrote Miranda Lambert’s No. 1 hit “Mama’s Broken Heart” and The Band Perry’s No. 1 hit “Better Dig Two.” Her debut album 12 Stories was named the Best Album of 2013 in any genre by New York Magazine. The newly-announced two-time Grammy Awards nominee will also perform at C2C at The O2 in London Saturday, March 7.

Known for his role as Gunnar Scott on the hit ABC show “Nashville,” Palladio is also a singer-songwriter in real life who has a band that performs regularly in Nashville venues and has appeared on the Grand Ole Opry. He has also appeared in the TV series “Episodes” alongside Matt LeBlanc.

Randall is a multi-talented Nashville-based singer, songwriter and musician. In 1992, he won a Grammy Award as a member of Emmylou Harris & The Nash Ramblers, then forged a solo career beginning in 1995 when he was signed to RCA Records. He has four albums to his credit. He subsequently focused more on songwriting, winning the 2005 CMA Song of the Year award for “Whiskey Lullaby,” which he co-wrote with Bill Anderson and was a hit for Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss.
