CMA Event Policies
Country Music Association, Inc. (“CMA”) Event Policies (“Policies”) foster a safe and secure environment for all participants. CMA hosts varied physical and online events (“Event(s)”). Entry into each Event requires a credential, code, link, pass, physical ticket, digital ticket or an online registration (“Ticket(s)”). The person or entity in possession of a Ticket is referred to as “you”. By possessing a Ticket, you agree to these Policies as well as the policies of the venue where the Event takes place. Violation of any of these Policies, as determined in CMA’s sole discretion, may result in the immediate revocation of your Ticket and ejection from the Event without a refund.
- Ticket Use:
Your Ticket is a revocable license entitling you to enter the Event and occupy a seat. You must possess and present your Ticket for entry into the Event at the time of entry. Duplicating Tickets in any way is strictly prohibited. You may not attempt to sell a Ticket for a price higher than the original purchase price. You may not award a Ticket as a prize or use it for any commercial gain without the written consent of CMA. Any Ticket purchased through any outlet outside of CMA and CMA’s official ticketing partners are not guaranteed entry methods to the Event. Tickets are the sole property of CMA. CMA has the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, revoke, or refuse Tickets for any individual or entity. CMA will not be responsible for any penalty, fee, loss, or expense incurred that might result from such action. In the event of unexpected production changes, it may be necessary to relocate your seat and unexpected production adjustments may partially obstruct views from some seats. No refunds or exchanges. Events continue rain or shine. - Code of Conduct:
CMA is committed to creating and sustaining an inclusive culture where all people have access to experience Country Music. Therefore, inappropriate behavior such as discrimination, harassment, any form of abuse and/or targeted comments which may cause any person to fear for their safety at the Event will not be tolerated. CMA has the sole discretion to eject or to refuse admission to any persons whose behavior is deemed inappropriate by CMA. You will comply with Federal, State and local laws. You will adhere to the health and safety guidelines established by relevant authorities, including Nashville/Davidson Country Metro Public Health Department, Tennessee Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and any additional guidelines set forth by CMA and the owner and management of the venue. - Accessibility:
CMA is committed to planning Events free of physical and communication barriers. CMA will work with the venues to ensure that all requests for medical accommodations are considered and implemented, where reasonable. If you require a physical or digital accommodation to attend the Event, please contact info@cmaworld.com or call (615) 244-2840. - Prohibited Items:
CMA’s list of prohibited items for all CMA events can be found here: https://www.cmaworld.com/prohibited-items/. Check the venue’s website for additional prohibited items. Exceptions will be made for medical equipment and medically necessary items after proper inspection. You consent to the search of yourself and any bag or container of any kind in your possession before entry into the Event. Admission to the Event may be denied for refusing any such search. Prohibited items may be confiscated and your Ticket may be revoked, without refund, at CMA’s or venue’s discretion. - Intellectual Property:
Photographs, audio recordings and video recordings taken at the Event by CMA may include your image, name, voice or likeness. By attending the Event, you hereby grant CMA permission to perpetually use these images or recordings for any purpose, without compensation or credit. You may not reproduce, use, transmit, or assist in the reproduction, use, or transmission of pictures, descriptions and accounts of Event.You consent to CMA’s collection, storage, use and disclosure of your information as described in the CMA Privacy Policy, available here: https://www.cmaworld.com/privacy/, which includes more information about how CMA collects and uses personal data, and how to remove your private information from CMA’s systems. - Assumption of Risk:
Entry into the Event is voluntary and may involve certain risks, such as personal injury, damage to physical or intellectual property, data loss, and exposure to communicable diseases such as COVID-19. By entering the Event you agree to release CMA, the owner and management of any venues where the Event occurs, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, employees, agents, contractors, officers, directors, from and against all claims, demands, causes of action, loss, liability, damage, cost and expense arising out of, caused by or resulting directly or indirectly from any injury, damage, illness or loss. - Indemnity:
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless CMA and the owner and management of any venues where the Event occurs, as well as their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, employees, agents, contractors, officers, directors, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, suits, actions, liens, costs and expenses of any kind and nature arising out of the Event. - Miscellaneous:
CMA may make changes to the Policies at any time. CMA may assign these Policies to a third-party at its sole discretion. You will review the Policies prior to each Ticket purchase and each Event. In the event that any provision of these Policies is held unenforceable in any respect, such unenforceability will not affect any other provision of these Policies. CMA’s failure to exercise its right to insist upon your adherence to these Policies shall not operate as a waiver. CMA is not liable for any damages or lost profits. In no event will the cumulative liability of CMA exceed the total amount paid by you for your Ticket. Policies shall be interpreted under the laws of the State of Tennessee. The courts of Nashville, Tennessee shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any controversy arising from the Policies. Contractor shall have no right to seek or obtain injunctive relief that would in any way interfere with the Event or CMA’s ability to use the materials obtained from the Event.
