CMA Sponsors 2022 Music Biz Brunch Featuring O.N.E THE DUO

Event Spotlights Emerging Mother-Daughter Country Duo with Special Performance and Interview

CMA returned to host the Music Biz Brunch yesterday, Tuesday, May 10 during the Music Biz 2022 Conference at the JW Marriott hotel in Nashville. The event featured an insightful and compelling conversation and performance by mother-daughter singer-songwriter group, O.N.E the Duo. The conversation was moderated by Marcus K. Dowling, Tennessean Nashville Country Music Reporter.

O.N.E the Duo, comprised of mother, Tekitha Washington and daughter, Prana Supreme Diggs, took the stage alongside Dowling for a riveting conversation centered on the intersectionality of storytelling in all genres, especially Country and Hip-Hop, the dynamic of making music as mother and daughter and the intentionality of their creative approach, as well as their experience writing and recording within the Nashville community.

Following the interview, the group captivated attendees with a stirring performance of their songs, “River of Sins” and “Guilty,” as well as a cover of ZZ Ward’s “Put the Gun Down.” To learn more about O.N.E the Duo, visit onetheduo.com.
